Workspace Requirements

What a RestoreBase admin actually needs before setup, without internal infrastructure details.

What You Need

  • access to your RestoreBase workspace
  • a workspace owner account or invited admin account
  • access to the Discord Developer Portal for the application you want to connect
  • the Discord application ID, client secret, and bot token
  • permission to invite that bot into the server you want to protect
  • the verification channel and verified role you want to use
  • one real test member account for the first end-to-end check

What RestoreBase Handles

RestoreBase handles the hosted application layer behind the dashboard, including:

  • workspace login and dashboard access
  • hosted verification routes
  • recovery storage and roster management
  • dashboard updates and product changes
  • billing flows when your workspace has billing enabled

Technical Details You May Still See In The Dashboard

Redirect URI

When you connect a Discord bot, the redirect URI in the Discord Developer Portal must exactly match the redirect URI saved on /custom-bots.

Custom domain

If your workspace uses a custom public domain for member verification, the RestoreBase team should confirm the final domain value with you before launch.

Storage unavailable or billing not configured

If the dashboard shows storage or billing configuration issues, that is usually an account or service-side problem, not something you fix with local configuration.
